My last week of training in France before I came home for the summer, I tore my calf.
It was absolutely the highest level and best training I had been doing in years, so I was tremendously disappointed. I tore my calf in 2019 as well, so I knew what I was looking at for recovery.
Now, 9 weeks later, I am starting the process of training, running, full-fitness again. Today, I was testing my running and it was awesome.
The older I get, the more I appreciate the good times and also the ability to recover - it gets harder the older I get.
