How Young Blood by Noah Kahan changed my life

I heard this song a few years ago, right after the death of my close friend Tamara. It reminded me of songs we would listen to when she was sick - acoustic, upbeat, always with a message.

I drove cried to this song on the way to the gym many of days after she passed.

The chorus really captures her spirit, the message of going for it, making a life of memories.

In the last few months, it has come to mean something very different to me - in the context of Tam, and where my life is now.

Noah says, "if you want I can tell the truth, that this life takes a toll on you. I spend nights stitching up loose threads on my soul, in the morning I'm bulletproof".

And isn't that the most accurate line of humankind?
